    Join us for a meaningful community gathering where women come together to connect—with themselves and with one another—in a spirit of care and sisterhood.

    Through guided meditation, journaling, personal reflection, small group sharing, and creative practice, we’ll explore how loss is a part of our lives, shaping and moving us onward.

    Co-led with guest facilitator Fiona Lovell Horning, MA. Fiona is an INELDA trained death doula, artist, and writer.

  • Women's Circle: The Mother's Journey as Our Children Enter Adulthood

    4 Wednesdays: November 4, November 18, December 2, and December 16 | 7:00–8:30 PM

    Sacred Threads Center, 71 Walnut Park, Newton, MA 02458

    This circle offers a welcoming space for mothers to pause, reflect, share their stories, and listen to what may be stirring within them during this season of letting go and becoming. Together, we will honor not only our children’s journeys, but the unfolding journey of the mother’s soul.

Past Speakers

Past Sacred Threads program offerings include large gatherings anchored by a popular, well-known speaker, the largest event with Joan Chittister drawing over 700 people, and round table panel discussions, including Influence of Faith on Women in Leadership and Women in Media. Over 70 events, mostly led by prominent speakers, have been offered since the organization’s inception in 2009.
