Claudia Pouravelis

A longtime higher education administrator and practitioner, Claudia Pouravelis currently serves as a Senior Director at Bright Horizons EdAssist. She earned an EdD in Educational Leadership – Higher Education from Johnson & Wales University and MA and BA degrees from Boston College.

Claudia is originally from Old Orchard Beach, Maine, and attended Catherine McAuley High School in Portland, Maine, where she was lovingly educated and inspired by the values of the Sisters of Mercy. She was raised in both the Catholic and Greek Orthodox traditions, which has helped shape her own spirituality and faith.

She lives in Boston’s South End with her husband Adam Webster, a political consultant, and her two young children, Frederic and Delphine.
